Simple.. Healthy.. delicious..
I love making granola! It is so simple to make and anytime it is easy to make something with fewer, healthier ingredients- I’m down! Not to mention, it is easy to rack up your sugar intake with store bought granola. Granola is so versatile and adds a little “umph” to, sometimes, bland healthy snacks. For example, plain greek yogurt? Ehhh… Plain greek yogurt topped with homemade granola… Ahhhh! No added sugars açaí smoothie bowl? Ehhh… No sugars added açaí smoothie bowl topped with homemade granola? Ahhhh! Ya feel me? A little natural sweetness and some crunch and you have totally changed your snack game!
Simple assembly equals easy clean up

I am all about using the least amount of dishes possible. The less I have to clean the better! So for this recipe, I threw a pampered chef silpat on a baking sheet, dumped all the ingredients in the middle, mashed them together with a fork, and bam! No extra mixing bowls to worry about. This recipe is simple and quick, but your attention is needed through it all! The higher temps allow for a quicker toasting time, but if you look away and play with your adorable baby for 2 minutes you might burn a batch or two haha!
